This movie explores the pain of failing to realize your dream and being forced to compromise. Kate Winslet and Leonardo DeCaprio play a suburban couple who feel stifled by the sterility of their lives. Their plan to give it up and move to Paris is abandoned when she has an unexpected pregnancy and he gets a lucrative promotion.
