Clocks and Eclairs

Recently we've been noticing unusual clocks in our wanderings around the city.  Yesterday we saw a beautiful clock on the wall of a building which I think was the Prefecture de Police.  I don't remember seeing this clock in 2009, so perhaps it has been recently restored.

From Les Berges yesterday we could see the clock at the top of the Musée d'Orsay, a former train station.

Today we re-visited the Horloge à Automates, near the Pompidou Center where we saw The Defender of Time.  It's a mechanical clock depicting a knight battling the elements, which are depicted as savage animals.  Unfortunately the clock hasn't worked for many years.

Our lunch today was couscous at Chez Omar.  I didn't take a picture because it looked very much like the couscous we had a couple of weeks ago.  However, later in our wanderings we came across L'Éclair de Génie, a shop selling eclairs in a number of flavors.  We bought fig, chocolate, and coffee.
